Montessori School at Emory

The Emu Class (Upper Elementary) is on the move! On Wednesday, they traveled to Etowah Indian Mounds Historic Site to explore how Native Americans of the Mississippian culture lived. Students toured the grounds, experienced a primitive weapons demonstration, and learned how this thriving culture worked the land. It was a day full of hands-on learning and a deeper connection to Georgia’s rich history.
