Because of the investment of passionate donors and the power of endowment, the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation supports scholarship programs for workforce development, adult student, and graduating high school seniors in Macon, Moultrie, and Piatt Counties.

It's here the stories of people passionate about their giving are met with the stories of students whose pursuit of knowledge has been impacted by this generosity.

"What an incredible youth lock-in! Our hearts are full after spending time with 30 amazing young people who came together to grow in their faith. ❤️

During our time together, we focused on spiritual growth through meaningful prayer and conversations about drawing closer to God. Our youth courageously reflected on letting go of obstacles in their spiritual journey and set personal goals for their walk with Christ. They also created beautiful vision board picture frames to help visualize their spiritual aspirations.

The next day brought powerful discussions about deepening our relationship with God, maintaining healthy boundaries with social media, and embracing a growth mindset in our faith journey.

We're so proud of our youth for their openness, vulnerability, and desire to strengthen their relationship with God. Thank you to everyone who helped make this lock-in such a success! Please continue to pray for our young people as they pursue these goals. 🙏
