Happy Tuesday, friends! VBS is right around the corner and we are so excited. Join us on Sunday, June 14 in the 2nd service for the children and youth to share some music with us that they will learn during the week. I can't wait!!

We are excited to announce that Meredith Lyons has accepted an expanded, full-time role at FUMC Decatur as Director of Children’s & Outreach Ministries!

Meredith has already been a blessing to our church through her heart for children, families, and our community, and we are grateful for the passion, creativity, and leadership she brings to this newly augmented role.

As Director of Children’s & Outreach Ministries, Meredith will continue leading and strengthening our ministry to children while also helping our church reach beyond our walls with the love of Christ. This expanded dual role includes leadership in social media and online ministry, among other important outreach initiatives.
