Margaret Glaspy's () new album I Am Both — produced by three-time Grammy winner Joe Henry — is a striking collection of songs that move between fictional vignettes, unguarded self-revelation, and empathetic observation of the world around us. In an era of endless noise, her music is a reminder of what stillness and precision can do.

Opening is Anna Tivel (), a Portland-based songwriter whose work NPR's Ann Powers described as being "at the same level as Paul Simon when he wrote 'The Boxer' and 'American Tune.'" Six albums deep with a seventh on the way — she's one of the most quietly essential voices in American songwriting right now.

A Nashville Americana rock band whose sound has long drawn comparisons to The Band, Grateful Dead, and Crosby, Stills & Nash — but with their fifth studio album Back to Life on Yep Roc Records, Cordovas are stepping forward with their most focused and fully realized music yet. Songs written between a communal compound in Todos Santos, Mexico and the rehearsal rooms of Nashville. Road tested, deeply traditional in the ways that matter, and determined to be respected on their own terms.

"We've kept our heads down for ten years," says frontman Joe Firstman. "The craftsmanship shows. The songs are better, the technical parts are better, everything discernible and improved from yesterday."
