What do you do when you are sitting in a business event knowing someone may be hurting? Sometimes it’s hard to be a licensed clinical social worker at a business function.

My MBA was my second degree but my MSW concentration was macro, building up communities and breaking down systems of poverty.

Tonight I wanted to reach out and say that I get it. I get that as a business owner you may not be able to let go of a paying client to charge a higher rate. I know that no matter how much wishing and mindset you have and obtain, you just can’t financially let a client go to charge a higher rate.

My business consulting is not just retraining your mindset. My MBA allows me to teach you how to make sound decisions and actually take the financial and strategic steps to make a profit in business not only by charging what your worth, but by teaching you to financially support yourself along.

Sometimes you can’t just rip off a band aid in your business. But, you know what? Sometimes you can. As your consultant, I guide you through those decisions using my metrics and your ambition.

Yes, I am still a therapist, but I am also passionate about helping the people sitting in a room with other business owners thinking, “how do I really charge more? No, really, how do I do that?” Going back to that macro social work degree. I truly want people to be lifted into financial security, but with a plan.

This historic initiative leveraged the combined power of government, the corporate sector, and local non-profits to ensure that LGBTQ Atlantans had access to meaningful employment and vital resources.
With over 800 people in attendance last year, the virtual opportunity fair features live video interviews with some of Atlanta’s foremost pro-equality employers, as well as complimentary resume building services and resources specific to the needs of the LGBTQ community. Participating employers of the Mayor’s LGBTQ Opportunity fair are hiring for jobs of all levels. This event is open to all."
