Today I celebrated National Cancer Survivors Day with my Grandbaby Girl 💜 This was the first time I saw it on the calendar. Her Gigi had already picked out an outfit with purple in it. I added pink accessories to make the pink in the dress pop out. This was also the Sunday they recognized the 2026 graduates and to know me is to know I love applauding education. 🎓

My grandbaby clapped and sang along with the children's choir, found a band aid in my purse to put on an imaginary boo boo on her finger, and finessed me for my pearls once she realized I had them on. After church she went from Princess to what used to be referrenced as a tomboy wanting to climb the rock pile, see the railroad tracks up close and throw rocks. 🤦🏾‍♀️😂 She loves the outdoors and is quick to pick up leaves, sticks, rocks, etc.

Her chariot picked her up after church to head back to Atlanta and I spent some alone time of reflection at brunch compliments of my oldest son Christopher 🥰. I'm simply glad to be in the number, one more time.
