“Been at a standstill, delayed or caught in uncertainty? The Full Moon of June 29 (7:56 pm ET) is the perfect time to pause, reorient, and set course in a different direction.

It’s the first full moon of summer (in the Northern Hemisphere), falling just after the solstice on June 21. The word “solstice” refers to the sun’s stopping point, the time when the sun seems to pause before changing direction in its ascent. With Mercury also stationing retrograde, this Full Moon brings a powerful moment of pause and recalibration.

The Full Moon falls in the Vedic nakshatra called Purva Ashadha, the “Invincible Star,” that is symbolized by an elephant tusk. This part of the sky is connected to the elephant-headed god, Ganesha, who is revered as the Remover of Obstacles. Purva Ashadha carries the power of purification, conviction, and victory over adversity. It’s also symbolized by a winnowing basket, a tool used to separate the wheat from the chaff. This Full Moon nurtures discernment, patience, and self-trust.
