Every beautiful thing in the world is just a hint of the wonder God placed in you.
Before anything else was said about you, God declared, “You are made in My image.”
That’s your identity. Your calling. Your vocation.

Babel wasn’t built out of arrogance — it was built out of fear.
And we still carry those bricks today:
the pressure to impress, the fear of falling behind, the burden of holding everything together.

But you were never meant to sprint while carrying all that weight.
Jesus invites you to lay it down.
To rest.
To breathe.
To remember that your value isn’t in your performance but in His promise.

The race of faith isn’t won by striving higher — it’s run by trusting deeper.

Each of us has lived this: The plan fell apart. The dream dissolved. The path closed.
We assume we’re being punished. But some of the most confusing seasons of your life may not have been God’s judgment… They may have been God’s rescue.
Sometimes God loves you too much to let your plans work. Sometimes He confuses the path because clarity would’ve fed your pride. Sometimes He interrupts because the “success” you wanted would’ve crushed you.
This is not anger. This is intervention. This is mercy— a Father gently prying something dangerous out of His child’s hand.
And when you’re in the middle of it, it’s okay if you can’t see that yet. From inside the story, it’s hard to tell what’s being taken away… and what’s actually being given.

When the plan falls apart, we almost always assume God is displeased.
But what if the closed door was mercy?
What if the disappointment was protection?
What if the confusion was God gently pulling you away from something that would have broken you?

You don’t have to see it clearly to trust that He is for you.
Even in the confusion.
Even in the silence.
Even in the rubble.

Sometimes rescue just doesn’t look like rescue until later.

The gospel doesn’t say, “Climb higher. Prove yourself. Make your name great.”
It steps into the rubble of all our self-made towers and says: “You don’t need to climb. I will come down.”
Where Babel says, “Let us rise,” Jesus says, “I will descend.” Where Babel says, “Let us make our name great,” Jesus says, “I will give you a name… and I will take the form of a servant.”
You don’t have to build a staircase to heaven. Jesus brings heaven to you.
