Today our Victim Services team met with Sergeant Abdias Charles, the new certifying official for U-visa certifications at City of Atlanta Police Department, Sergeant Renato Anaya, and Hispanic Liaison Officer Miguel Lugo.
We discussed how we can collaborate to ensure that all victims of crime in the City of Atlanta Government are encouraged to seek assistance and report crimes committed against them regardless of their immigration status, which in turn makes our city safer.
We are thankful to Sgt Charles, Sgt Anaya and SPO Lugo for their partnership and look forward to working together!
