🏅2026 Hixson Fellowship Award🏅

2026 recipient, Bruce McLellan 🎊

The Hixson Fellowship Award was created by Kiwanis International and named in honor of the First Kiwanis International President - George F. Hixson. Hixson dedicated 50 years of his life in service to Kiwanis. He served as the Kiwanis organization's president in its infancy. He served for two years and remains the only person to have held the job for more than a year. Many years ago, our club began honoring one of our own as a Hixson Fellow annually, initially selected by the board but then transitioned to being nominated and selected by the Hixson Fellows themselves.

For our club, being named a Hixson Fellow signifies dedicated service to the club and the community over a number of years. Our club has named 30 of our members as Fellows 🎉
