Deviant Smoke Competition Cooking Team

Today at the Scottsboro BBQ Festival we competed against 31 really great teams!

We placed as follows
Chicken-6th
Ribs-8th
Overall-7th

So proud of us, as some of the best of the best and our friends we were stacked up against! Thank you as always for B&B Charcoal for keeping our fires going clean and strong! Thank you Publix for our chicken drums and our ribs they were winners as always!!

We have had the best weekend at Smoke on the Water 2.0 in Guntersville !! Todays competition we have placed as follows

Pork-9th
Chicken-14th-(2nd on the table)
Ribs-4th -178
Sausage- 1st with an 180 perfect perfect
Overall-352.6- 6th place

B&B Charcoal Texas Trinity made an appearance this weekend and helped us win a 2nd place in the Conecuh Sausage Ancillary. Our Shrimp gravy served over a fried gouda grit cake with conecuh sausage. Absolutely delicious!

It wouldn't ba a BBQ comp without rain. And a puppy nap.
The good news is it cooled down so much the AC stopped running. You could have prooffed bread in here!
