Elyse embodied this message in everything she did. As a yoga instructor, she approached each class with love, kindness, and so much humor. She brought out the best in others with her authentic, eccentric, loveable self. All the while, she aimed to heal, strengthen, and empower her community.

Everyone that knows her can point to something ridiculous and say, "That is so Elyse". If you had the honor of taking one of her classes, then you were certainly a part of one of those wild moments.

Elyse died very suddenly on Sunday, August 6, 2023, of complications after suffering a heart attack. We are completely devastated by this loss.

Though she has passed, her impact continues on in her friends, students, and teaching methods. We hope you will continue on the journey of self-discovery through yoga, and honor the light within that Elyse treasured in you.
