Decatur City Schools STEAM Engine-Decatur, Al

The STEAM Engine had a great time at Elementary School Decatur, AL today! The Sphero Indis were a big hit! Thank you, Civil Air Patrol, for the donation of those robots!

Today I got to meet Sharon McDougle at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center! She is a retired spacesuit technician, and is passionate about engaging girls in STEM. I bought a copy of her book for the STEAM Engine, and cannot wait to read it to the students!

We have not had the best weather this winter, but are FULLY BOOKED between now and the end of the school year! 👏🏻👏🏻 I cannot wait to get rollin’!

Today was the perfect night for math night at Frances Nungester Elementary School. Parents and students participated in math activities in the school, and on the STEAM Engine!

We loved being at Frances Nungester Elementary School last week! We will be returning in April for their math night!
