Wear your denim tomorrow to raise awareness, challenge victim-blaming, and stand in solidarity with survivors.

Denim Day began after a harmful court ruling suggested clothing implied consent—millions now wear jeans to say it never does! đŸ’™đŸ‘–

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and here in Lawrence County, resources are in place to support victims and their families. One of those is the Mental Health Association in Morgan County’s REACT program which provides sexual violence prevention and education programs for victims as well as other support services. MHA is the only sexual assault crisis center serving Lawrence County.

Local businesses are recognizing this month by displaying teal ribbons to show their support. If you would like a free ribbon for your home or business, reach out to Karley Dotson on Facebook or by email [email protected]
