Wise County 4-H

With the introduction of the New World Screwworm in Texas, we will now be requiring Health Papers for ALL livestock entered in the Fair. This includes ALL Market Steers, Breeding Sheep, and Swine!! This decision aims to protect any and all animals entering the facility.

All applications are due by 11:59PM - TODAY (Wednesday, June 17)

AMBASSADORS

Take accountability and ownership in our Wise County 4-H Program by joining the Wise County 4-H Ambassadors! After getting a lot of interest from our members for more leadership positions at the county level, we have created a great opportunity! Our ambassadors will work in conjunction with the Wise County Extension Staff and Adult Leaders to conduct events and activities at the county level.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Application must be completed and "signed".
• A 2025-2026 4-H Record Book must be completed and submitted ONE OR BEFORE THE DEADLINE (JUNE 15TH).
• 1 Essay completed (minimum 150 words).
• Senior Ambassadors must be incoming 8th-12th grades.
• Junior Ambassadors - must have completed AT LEAST ONE YEAR IN 4-H AND COMPLETED AT LEAST ONE 4-H PROJECT and be incoming 4th-7th grades.

Applications must be submitted by June 17, 2026 at 11:59PM - NO EXCEPTIONS!
