My Signature Scent

Did you know we create signature scents for events? Atlanta's Fragrance Designer created a custom perfume for attendees of Essence Festival!

One of the hardest things to do is create perfume for a large group of people with disparate preferences without having any idea of what they like... So, she drew her inspiration from the diversity of the festival-goers. Although 82% of attendees are Black women, they are not monolithic. Therefore, she tried to make a scent that was not too much of any one thing. Not too floral, too earthy, too woody, too sweet.

She created something that had florals for the flower lovers, but didn't smell like a typical floral fragrance, for those who don't love flowers. She gave it a touch of sweetness with tonka bean, honey, and to***co. She made it a little odd by including banana and coffee.
