It’s about to be RiRi on the TV! Can’t wait

This month I want to highlight women of color because as a women in business I am understanding the struggle it can be sometimes to be “I’m Every Women” that Whitney Houston sings about or the “Phenomenal Women” that Maya Angelou wrote such beautiful words describing, so I think we deserve to be highlighted and uplifted.

I’ll start this weeks post off with this art work. I’m not sure if is the artist behind this piece or was she inspired like I was to post this beautiful image of a black women, but upon my research I find Valisia a black women is a Toni and Grammy award nominated actress and singer. She is best known for her role in the Broadway production Motown as the originating role of Diana Ross.
