Despite the rain from the Beryl fallout, I was able to make it to the studio today. I’ve got this piece that I’ve been working on but I also have a project that I’ve been working on for a number of years. It’s in the Stranger at home series and is 15.5x48” mixed media on cradled birch panel. I’m ver excited to be working on this one again. Well, I’m excited about being back in the studio. My work time is getting longer. My endurance and fortitude are getting stronger. They call it a Studio Practice for a reason.

• get out of bed
• make coffee
• let the dog out
• drink said coffee
• take meds
• wait 30 minutes
• commute to the studio
• try to figure out what ai was thinking when I ended working last night.
• work until meds wear off
• eat
• take more meds
• wait until they kick in
