Highview Elementary School

Meet Wendy Ellis, a 4th grade teacher at Highview Elementary School, who reminded us that sometimes the most powerful teaching moments come from the simplest shifts. When repeated assessments weren't helping her students grasp summarizing, Wendy traded written tests for drawings and transformed her classroom into a space where confidence and understanding could flourish. Her story is a beautiful example of the thoughtful, student-centered approach our educators bring to their work every single day.
