The 40th annual Stetson University Double Reed Workshop was a big success. Thanks to our wonderful faculty, staff, and counselors: Gabriel Bergeron-Langlois, Will Wise, Brianna Pols, Nick Gallegos, Sydney Holder, William Hamilton, Lillia Wolfe, Gabby Wills, Garrett McCormick, Andrei Caquimbo, Ted Shistle, and counselors-in-training and incoming freshman Landon Durbin and Raisa Carrillo. Everyone contributed to make this a memorable experience for everyone.

Proud teacher!

A long overdue congrats to Lyn Allen (music and anthropology major) on her great junior recital performance at UF.

Upon invitation, UF freshman Sophy Lehrmann (music and business major) attended Sphinx Connect in Detroit. This was a great opportunity for talented musicians and emerging leaders in the arts.

Stetson freshman Andrei Caquimbo (music performance and technology major) will be attending Eastern Music Festival this summer and is waitlisted at Suwannee Music Festival.

UF and Stetson students performed beautifully in masterclasses with Jared Hauser.

High school junior Claire Hsieh received a Superior on her State Solo & Ensemble performance. She will attend John Mack Oboe Camp this summer and is also waitlisted at Brevard Music Festival.

Eight-grader Billy Allen received a superior on his Solo & Ensemble performance.

Alternatively, I am proud of all my students. Some days, just getting out of bed and showing up is an achievement.
