Last night didn’t go as planned. Everything was looking good going into qualifying when we had a rear bearing issue in the Sportsman. We had to jump right into the E-Mod for the heat race, where we finished fourth. Started on the outside pole of the E-Mod feature and were battling for fourth late in the race when we had contact and spun into the outside wall, pretty much killing our race. Then we had to jump right into the Sportsman for 60 laps. We started dropping back early, but after an early caution we were able to come to the pits and get it fixed. Unfortunately, we just didn’t have the pace of the leaders, but we were still able to come away with a top five.

Qualified 5th in the Sportsman. Dealing with a drivetrain issue right now, but working to get it squared away for tonight’s race.

Finished 4th in the heat race with the E-Mod. Got caught up in some traffic but still a good run.

P2 last night at New Smyrna Speedway. 🏁

Really proud of the whole team. We had a fast car and were able to race up front all night long. Just came up one spot short, but we’ll take the momentum and keep building.

Unfortunately our speed weeks has been cut short. We thrashed on the car all day trying to get it back how it was. Broke a axle and potentially more leaving pit road to qualify. Tried to get it fixed but unfortunately there’s too much damage.

P6 at Citrus this past weekend in their new late model class. Lost front brakes early in the race but still had decent long run speed. Huge thank you to Tim Bagnall, Brian Finney, William Pate, supporters, and of course my dad! We will be back.
