B-CU Community Performance Series

Amazing experiences and great memories from this weekend's collaborative music education symposium with Stetson University and Bethune -Cookman University. A huge thank you to our two guest clinicians, Dr. Jeffery Redding from the University of Central Florida, and Dr. Gregory Drane from Penn State University, who led us in an inspiring and unforgettable Music Education Symposium this past Saturday, bringing together conducting students and student performing ensembles from Bethune-Cookman University's Department of Music and Stetson University's School of Music! The event was organized by Dr. Rose Grace from B-CU's Department of Music and Dr. John Lychner from Stetson University's School of Music. We want to extend our sincerest thanks to all the ensemble directors and other music faculty from both institutions who played a huge role in supporting and preparing our students to collaborate in this great Music Education Symposium! And of course, a big thank you to the Administration from both institutions for supporting our students and faculty in this event, which provides an incredible opportunity for our students to develop and grow as musicians.
