You're likely throwing away their weight in plastic each month.😬 That's right, according to World Metrics, the average U.S. household disposes of 63 pounds of plastic waste monthly. Plastic can take over 1,000 years to break down in landfills, depending on the type of plastic and exposure to UV light. 💙Play at the Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark Children’s Discovery Garden: $0
💚 Cool off at the Deeds Point Bridge under the Fountain of Lights: $0
💙Grab a sweet treat at the 2nd Street Market: $7
(Many of the Market's vendors accept SNAP/EBT)
Sunday:
💙Splash at the Island MetroPark water play area and then enjoy the playground: $0
(Make a day out of it and pack a picnic lunch)
