The next Gem City Sessions is up! Gem City Sessions are candid field recordings of Music in the Miami Valley. Live, off the cuff candid takes of songs from here. We went to a trail along the Little Miami near my house with some old Sycamore trees, (one of my favorite ones infact, which I am certain is a domicile for a family of particularly fancy racoons). It was hot, buggy, and we had a grand old time. Sometimes we have to search for songs, Sometimes songs happen to find us. “Xeniatown” is an off-the-cuff version of a song about sudden change, possibility in an uncertain future, the things we hold on to. and a song still in a state of final adjustments. A scene in a diner, like any other diner, in a small but proud Midwestern town, like so many out here. Not sure what to do with this one. Enjoy!
