I live with my husband, Tom. A few months ago, his 22-year-old daughter Kayla moved in "just for a little while" after graduating college. Naturally, we agreed.

"MOM, I NEED YOU TO GET ME A CAR!" Frustration filled Charlie's voice.

Alice let out a tired breath. "Honey, I can't afford something like that. I got you a different gift."

Charlie's response cut in sharply. "Return the gift and BUY ME A CAR!"

Angry now, Charlie wanted answers. When Alice left, he slipped into her bedroom, grabbed her laptop, and checked her email.

"What the...?" he muttered.

Continuing his search, he located an address for a storage unit. In a drawer, he found a key with that address. He left in a hurry.

At the storage unit, his hands trembled as he unlocked the door. When the door creaked open, Charlie stopped in shock.
