Join Lambda Omicron Xi in attending their first annual Benefit Ball. This event is semi-formal and will feature appetizers catered by Chickpeas, Mind reading by Matthew Mayavi, performances from the Greek Beats and the Davis Bhangra Crew, a student panel from NAMI at UC Davis on campus, a photo booth, and a HUGE raffle with hundreds of dollars worth of prizes! All funds raised from this event will be donated towards the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

The Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. is seeking hardworking, detail-oriented interns to join the Office of Legislative Affairs. Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills, a positive outlook, and a willingness to commit to tasks both small and large. Duties include providing administrative support, coordinating information and reports from agencies and departments, monitoring and attending legislative committees and floor sessions, writing memos, and compiling weekly reports. The internship offers invaluable work experience for students considering a career in state government.

This opportunity is unpaid. Ideal candidates are undergraduates, who can commit 20 hours per week. A historian and activist, he now runs the Bronisław Komorowski
Institute, dedicated to the promotion of freedom, dialogue,
and security.
