We currently have three paid Associate (pre-licensed) positions available with Life Compass, LLC. The position is as a Therapist providing clinical services to individuals, couples, youth and children.
Excellent, professional supervision and progressive training is provided by Lee Ockenden, LMFT, John Jervis, LMFT, and Carmen Isais, LMFT.
Requirements:
-Master’s Degree
-Registration with the BBS as a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC).
OR
Enrollment in a Master’s Degree program and approval from your school to begin working at a traineeship site (trainee volunteer program).
-All Trainees or Interns must maintain their own private liability and malpractice insurance.
Duties
Therapists are to maintain a professional atmosphere and uphold all legal and ethical standards. Therapists will conduct assessments, create treatment plans, implement interventions and techniques, and maintain confidential client records.
The position is a paid commission-based position based on the fees that you collect.
The hours are flexible, however, some structured evenings and weekends will be necessary. You are free to be creative with your therapeutic process while discussing with the supervisor. One two-hour group supervision per week is included and mandatory.
