California Veterinary Emergency Team - CVET

While part of our leadership team was in Portugal sharing expertise on One Health and animal disaster preparedness, another part of the CVET team was representing us a little closer to home at this year's Pacific Veterinary Conference (PacVet) in Sacramento.

With the Magnum trailer and F-550 on display in the exhibit hall, we had the opportunity to reconnect with current responders, introduce CVET to new audiences, and add 30+ veterinary professionals to our disaster response database.

A special thank you to our partners at the California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (CAVMRC), who exhibited alongside us as we jointly recruited veterinary professionals interested in supporting animal disaster preparedness and response throughout California.
