SOME OF YOU NEED TO STOP📌📌📌

Some people particularly on this blue app and emotional blackma!l are like perpendicular lines that meet. You and emotional blackmail are 5&6🤞🤞. You can actually guilt trip or gaslight people into believing they did something wrong.

I will give you just 2 examples out of many:

Case 1:
Three months ago, I organized a Free International Conference Abstracts BootCamp. The process was simple and I did it here publicly with everyone. The platform where we hosted the training was selected by you publicly through votes in the comments. It was free with no discrimination whatsoever. Many of you saw it, didn’t show up and ignored. When you started seeing people’s abstracts are accepted, you now write epistles in my inbox and email. Some of you in comments and in my inbox have claimed I did the training without informing people. Some saying they have never seen a thing like that. The posts are still here on my platform and I can even share the links so you go and read and see. Some of you even commented on those posts then show up to claim you were not aware. I was surprised when I saw your comments under those posts.

Case 2:
About 2+ weeks ago, I shared a post about the H.Humphrey fellowship. As usual, I asked all of you publicly to indicate if you are interested in having a conversation about that. Some of you showed interest and even followed up inbox which I felt your enthusiasm. Why shouldn’t I help? I still posted and asked you to select the right platform where you would like us to have a Livestream. Of the people who responded to that post, majority suggested FACEBOOK LIVE. I later scheduled a Facebook Live and announced the date and time publicly (All of these posts are still on my platform you can scroll down and see). I vividly remember I hosted that Livestream barely 4 hours after returning from a long and exhausting trip. I arrived at 4 am and hosted a Livestream at 8am. I showed up here on that Facebook Live as usual and only 7 people joined the Livestream. Of the many people who sounded excited and kept hounding me inbox and in comments only 7 people showed up. I wasn’t surprised that people didn’t show up because I am used to seeing that. It is not the first time.

❌As soon as I made a thank you post the following day after the Livestream to thank the people who showed up and encouraged them to take the tips shared seriously, as usual some of you started sending me epistles of messages how you were not aware of any Live stream, and you need my help bla bla bla bla. I checked the comments section and realized some of these people claiming not to know anything about the Livestream did participate in choosing the venue for the Livestream. They just chose not to show up because they believe because you are I am nice and will definitely assist them. You know what? I didn’t reply any of those messages and emails. I just ignored all of them. The Livestream is still on. If you need it, you can watch the rebroadcast before Facebook takes it down after 30 days. Will me replying change anything? No, it won’t because I am not God to determine someone’s destiny. But it is disrespectful to trying to emotionally manipulate people into thinking that they left you out of a free project whereas they didn’t.

❌If you came to me and said, I knew about the Livestream but couldn’t attend because of some unforeseen circumstances, I would totally understand that. However, coming to tell me that you weren’t aware of a Livestream which you participated in selecting the venue and confirming your presence is lies and it is a complete turnoff for me. I won’t believe anything else you say when I know you have lied about something as basic as that.

⭕️I just wanted to vent about the kinds of things some of you do which is not right. People generally share because they feel like doing it. They aren’t compelled to share or help. When I notice you are trying to guilt trip/ gaslight or blackmail me into doing something, I avoid you like a plague or I call you out immediately. Some of you need to stop.

📌My major and strict principle is ensuring to always conceal people’s identities when sharing their testimonials. My goal is to send a message about a community member’s achievement. What is important is the message and not the achiever’s identity. Focus on the message, not the identity!

❌I never tag them when sharing their testimonial posts for safety reasons unless they personally decide to reveal themselves. Sometimes when they tell me “it is okay to reveal my identity”, I still choose not to do so. It is not a bad thing that they are winning. However, I still object to revealing the IDs for their safety even when they willingly ask me to. I unveil when I feel the time is right and when I feel comfortable doing so. I don’t just jump into revealing your ID because you consent to it. Additionally, many of my mentees know me. I will object as soon as you tell me you want to write a comment that reveals your ID under my post. Sometimes, I even instruct you specifically not to comment or react under my post about your testimonial. However, if a mentee shares their success story on their personal wall and tag me, I usually respond since it is their decision to publicly share their success to their community (if they have a social media community).

✅I just realized today that Joan whose abstracts were accepted couldn’t contain her emotions and voluntarily wrote a detailed comment under the post to express her gratitude for benefiting from the free International Conference BootCamp. I wasn’t aware she was gonna do that.

I WAS STAR-STROKE TODAY😂😂

My Good People,

Your Good friend here was star-stroke today 😂. I met a super star today at the airport, from the TSA queue to the lobby. A big super star I grew up watching on TV. I promise you that most Gen Z aka AI generation can not recognize him. His calmness and soft spoken personality 👌.

He was just sitting in the lobby and minding his business without seeking any attention. In my mind, I was like; in a certain country, as soon as you have 1k followers, you need bodyguards and protocol while a great global superstar is sharing space with me. That’s Class right there! He’s really a very nice person. At first, I thought something was wrong with my eyes, because I could not believe😂.

I promise you, many of you, especially the “legends” received the beating of you lives for failing to fetch water because you went to watch him. 😂😂

Now I understand how some people feel excited when they meet me. Whenever I see the excitement, I am always wondering to myself why they are excited. I am just Claris. Why are they so excited to meet and chat with me. I am not different from them. Well, I never understood those my Good friends until today. I was in their position today and felt so happy. Now I get it! 😂All we go be excited. I am keeping this my souvenir very very jealously.😂😂😂😂
