Had a little fun with the input of a fellow bicyclist in coming up with a logo for our local bike club.

Just sharing more views of the new Challis Restoration truck. I like it from every angle, but I most enjoy how that splash of Hot Rod Red grabs your eye.

Got the chance to work with Cookies & Dreams out at I-80 and Middle Road.

Friday morning they opened up this new location, and from the smell of the place I'd bet they are serving some of the best cookies in the Quad Cities.

Thursday I was able to print and install some vinyl graphics and lettering to aid in their branding.

The place is looking great and I look forward to sampling their wares soon.

I should have posted this dad joke a few days ago, but I was busy preparing for my birthday... and to tell you the truth, I found it only slightly amusing. Yet with the sign reference, I felt it needed to be shared.

Now, today's joke was funny. In fact it was downright hilarious :)

What has my son got??? Well, it's not shingles.

It IS a job at my shop making signs like this. This is his first sign for this summer. He did the art, he weeded the vinyl, and he applied the graphics to the board.

Apparently a lot of houses are being re-roofed due to a hail storm awhile back, and the Waste Commission is trying to guide the dumping of said shingles to the proper location at the landfill.

Of course, he was properly supervised for now, but I have a feeling he'll be running the place before long.

I love that 3' x 5' signs fit in the back of my Prius. My Joliet customer paid for delivery to the New Lenox IDOT sign shop so I'm heading out early tomorrow morning.

Driving across most of Illinois, I really hope I don't get pulled over and asked for credentials proving my essential status. Fortunately the government always wants their stuff and this is their stuff at this stage.

In all seriousness though, I expect to see ONE person when I drop off the signs: and I will be wearing a mask and gloves, as will he. Believe me, I'm not taking COVID-19 lightly, especially anywhere close to Chicago.
