You won't believe this, but this mess on my table will be turned into a fair craft exhibit. With the heat wave this week and 90 degree temperatures in store, I plan to work on my entries for the fair. How about you? Are yours ready?

Have you even signed up, yet? Don't forget that the mail-in registrations are only $1 per exhibit and are due in the office by Wednesday, July 8. In-person registrations are available on (1) Tuesday, July 14 from 3-7pm; (2) Wednesday, July 15, from 3-7pm; and (3) Thursday, July 16 from 9am to 3pm. All in-person registration are at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds & Conference Complex. All entries will then need to be submitted on Saturday, July 18 from 9am to 12pm. Can’t wait to see ALL those entries.

If you totally miss any of these dates, you can register on that Saturday, July 18th, when you bring your exhibits to submit. However, the registration fee that day is $5 instead of the $1.

Ladies, Friends, Family, we could still use some help at the fair! Please take a moment to look at the open positions and see if you can cover a spot or two. The first shift of the day is three hours (12-3), but the rest of the shifts are only two hours. You will receive a ticket to enter the fair. So, you work a couple of hours in an air conditioned room and the rest of the time is left for you to enjoy the fair. If you have trouble with the online sign-ups, please contact us at [email protected] with the shift you want to sign-up for and we can place you in.
