FREE CERT ACADEMY JAN 21-23
The City of Dana Point is hosting a FREE Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training from January 21-23, 2022 at our new Emergency Operations Center.
The CERT program educates citizens about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills. Participants will be able to use this training to assist others in their community following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.
This 3 day course is open to all Dana Point residents over the age of 18. Residents aged 16-17 may participate with parental consent.
After the instructional portion of the academy, participants will be tested in a scenario-based exercise. Participants will receive a CERT manual and certificate of completion upon graduation.
Interested in attending? Visit Bit.ly/DPCERT for more info and the registration link.
