🚨AP NEWS: FORMER VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY DIES AT 84. Dick Cheney, the hard-charging conservative who became one of the most powerful and polarizing vice presidents in U.S. history and a leading advocate for the invasion of Iraq, has died at age 84.

Cheney died Monday night due to complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease, according to a statement from family spokesman Jeremy Adler.

FOOD CITY PRESENTS $10K TO LAFAYETTE AREA EMPTY STOCKING FUND: Food City officials recently presented The Lafayette Area Empty Stocking Fund with a check totaling $10,000 in support of their mission to provide supplemental food assistance to those in need in Walker County, Ga. during a time when traditional sources of help are typically limited. Their Christmas dinner bags are filled with all the necessary ingredients for a family holiday meal.
