Thanks everyone! Today’s result was not what we wanted, but what our voting members wanted. We wish the new leaders the best

Hopefully, everyone here has already voted. Encourage your coworkers to mail their ballots ASAP for a chance that they will make it to the election supervisor in time.

Our slate is preparing to observe the ballot count.

I’ll be observing the vote count on Thursday and hope our Local will be led by experienced members. Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Did anyone else read the 2026 budget proposed by the other candidates? They are proposing to cut our organizer and the communications team that got us on national news, BUT RAISING DUES while all of us are facing job uncertainty (many of us have been separated)? Does this make sense to anyone? Why would be pay more for less services? Where is the money from the cuts going to?

The campaign is almost over! We are finishing our calls and hoping to have a Local that is led by people who are experienced in fighting for our jobs. Make sure to mail your ballot for the Truth and Transparency Slate TODAY to make sure your is counted.

We’re entering the final days of the AFGE Local 252 election, and every single ballot still sitting at home could decide the direction of our Local for years to come. Our union deserves to be led by people with the knowledge, competency, and professionalism to stand up to this administration and protect our jobs.

Very excited for a discussion with Maria Asturias. We’ll talk about what it was like to not have a CBA and have to take leave to represent BUEs at all-staff meetings. Our discussion will cover what the Local did to gain the ability to have our representatives participate in all-staff meetings and what we must do to make sure BUEs continue to have union leaders attend all staff meetings.”
