Can we have a little honest therapy right now⁉️

Following God can be exciting until…well…it’s NOT! 🥴

I’ve been in this Christian thang for a minute, in this leadership, called by God to ministry for a while now and I can say God’s ‘asks’, His requirements never get easy. 😏

They cost more and more, the weight gets heavier and just when you think you’ve said yes to the most costly thing, He ask you to lean in deeper & ‘give that up, now do that too….’

“Say whaaaaa now, Lord!” 🤨

Here is what you have to know, being a child of God & not just a Christian is not always cutesy.

Because what we have called Christian gets to wear the title, but not really show up as one (ouch 🫨) especially when it’s time to obey the things your flesh isn’t ready to deny or be delivered of! 🫣

🗣️ But, hear me well Jesus is always after the cruxifiction of your flesh and to be His child will cost you….YOU! 😓 🔥

The truth is, it only becomes easier when you come to the end of yourself and then you are able to ‘let and allow’ God to lead, fully.

What does that look like?

It looks like, Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane surrending to death, “Not my will, but Your will be done.” 🔥

Though it may look a way to the everyone around you, it actually feels refreshing. 🫂💞

Because FrFr (for real) who is safer than God?? 🦻🏽 I’ll wait. 😉

I’ve given God a many yesss, whew Chile, 🥹 but last night in worship with many around me kneeled at the alter, as if it were only God and His little girl…. I wept YES, again! 😭 🙌🏽

I don’t fully know what this new surrender looks like, but I know He’s making something new in me and after walking with Him for so long, it feels refreshing to give a fresh yes and I feel safe in seeing where He leads. ♥️

One thing I’ve discovered is you are never done evolving in God and new seasons require a new you, fresh oil, and renovation.
