I had a strange dream that eventually became lucid. I dreamt that I woke up a few houses behind my grandmother’s, though I didn’t realize it yet. At first, I was witnessing the water department restoring/fixing service to an apartment community. A little girl who was apparently very curious about the process was given an opportunity to assist them. Then it felt like I woke up. I woke up, realized where I was, and thought I had sleep walked there. Strangely, I had money and my keys in my pockets, so I was prepared for the sleepwalk somehow. In the dream, I was still living in Pembroke Pines. Since I was so close to her house, I figured that I might as well go there. Everything felt fairly normal on the way there, until I got to her house. Actually, I think just before I got there, I realized one or two of her neighbor’s houses looked really different. Then I got to her house and it was completely different. That’s when I realized I was dreaming. Pretty sure I said the words “I’m lucid dreaming”. Then a male figure I was familiar with approached me. I knew who he was in the dream, but I don’t remember him now. He asked me questions that I reluctantly answered. I think he was a pastor or something. Then I remember being driven somewhere. I was in the backseat, and I think maybe the same guy was there with me, or maybe he was the one driving. I remember thinking how vivid everything appeared. Then all of a sudden, remembering again that I was lucid dreaming, I demanded that the car stopped. We were in the middle of the highway, but I didn’t care. It felt like my lucid dream was being wasted. Everything slowed down, then stopped like it was a Matrix movie. I said out loud what I wanted to do, then did it. I said that I’m going to fly out of here. So I stood up, ripped the roof of the vehicle back, then broke free to the sky. I remember slowly climbing then wanting to go faster, which I vocalized. I felt the excitement build and build, then I could feel myself waking up. The pure exhilaration ultimately woke me up.
