The application for federal student loan forgiveness for up to 20k has been released, but forgiveness being granted has been put on hold due to legislation being introduced to block it. Even with these shenanigans going on I still encourage you to apply. The application takes less than 5 minutes. I’m not seeing a lot of conversation about this but the deadline to apply for the Temporary Expanded Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program is 10/31/2022. If you will still have federal student loan debt after the 10k or 20k is forgiven then I encourage you to apply for this program even if you are not sure if you qualify. Her class helped me tremendously.
