I had to laugh at myself this week.
I’ve started to learn that I’m not frustrated because something didn’t get done, I’m frustrated because it didn’t get done MY way.
A lot of tension comes from expectations we never actually say out loud.
So here’s a light challenge for you this week:
Where could you loosen the grip a bit and make more room for how someone else does it?

We weren’t called to conquer everything in front of us.
We were called to cultivate what’s been placed in our care.
To stay in our own garden long enough to actually know the soil.
To do the unseen work of tilling, watering, and waiting.
To resist the temptation to jump fences just because someone else’s field looks greener.
Cultivation is slower than conquest.
It requires presence, patience, and humility.
But it’s also where real fruit is formed, fruit that lasts, fruit that feeds others, fruit that reflects who you actually are.
This season might not be about expanding your reach.
It might be about deepening your roots.
Save this if you’re learning to tend what you have instead of chasing what you don’t.
What if you gave yourself even half the credit the people who love you already give you?
The people who know you best see your effort, your growth, your heart. Imagine how differently you might show up if you let yourself borrow their perspective for a moment.
So here’s the simple question to sit with today:
What would change if you saw yourself the way they already did?
