Maintaining a fleet isn't just about big repairs, it’s about the discipline of the small details. 🚒✨

Today, Engine 1 got some extra attention with a deep clean of the engine bay. By keeping the heart of our apparatus free of grease, road grime, and debris, we ensure our equipment runs cooler, lasts longer, and stays ready to roll the second a call drops.

Taking pride in the tools we use to serve the community means making sure they’re in peak condition from the inside out. Great work to our crew for putting in the elbow grease today!

We are actively monitoring the weather today. Be aware of changing conditions and be prepared to take shelter if needed.

UPDATE | Large to very large hail, damaging winds and a low tornado threat are the concerns today. Dallas has been upgraded to a Level 4 risk: https://www.wfaa.com/article/weather/dallas-fort-worth-weather-latest-forecast-record-warmth-storms-severe/287-4809e7dd-d3f0-40b9-a319-073d7c8689cd?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_WFAA

What an incredible day yesterday at Stevie Ray Vaughan Park! 🎶

The Annual Blues Concert was a success, and we were so happy to be a part of it. It was a pleasure getting to interact with so many of you, both our local neighbors and those who traveled from outside the community to enjoy the music and the atmosphere.

However, as many of you know, the evening took a serious turn with the weather. Our Emergency Operations Center remained active throughout the night, monitoring conditions closely until the severe weather had completely moved out of our area. While we saw some small hail, we were very fortunate to miss the brunt of the storm.

Our hearts are with the residents of Runaway Bay and the surrounding areas this morning. We are keeping all the families affected by last night’s tornado in our thoughts as they begin to navigate the aftermath.
