When designing this look the strap on the left shoulder I forgot to install the silver loop and by time I realized it I was so far along and for a few days let it sit on the mannequin to decide if I wanted to take it apart just to add it and after about 6 days realized that I should just trust the reason why I forgot and see where this lands and if I didn’t like it, I was willing to redo this whole dress the way I thought I wanted it. But after sitting with it and then switching up my design decision to add a white long-sleeve mock neck instead of the silver metallic knit t-shirt that was in the original sketch it started to take shape in a way that I felt at peace at where it was going and needed to stop. Design and creating is a feeling process and you have to trust yourself and the universal guidance system that speak through you.”
