Happy 10th birthday, Ashton! I had the privilege of sharing Ashton's story with our community last year and I have loved watching Ashton chase his dreams ever since (most recently, skateboarding🛹) Here is Hilda's wish for her son...

"Parents need to teach their children that children who are blind can be amazing friends and not be afraid to let their kids talk to them or ask questions. Ashton is not ashamed of being blind or afraid to tell other about it. He loves sharing about himself and he loves making new friends. He sees others with his heart before he sees them with his eyes and that is something that I think we can all learn from him."
