A look at our New Year’s Eve last day paddle with TC Paddlesports at Panther Island, the Dallas Downriver Club, North Texas River Runners. We paddled from Elm Park (Dimension Tract) to Birds Fort. Trip was approx. 6 1/2 miles with a few sections of moving water and one log jam that required some speed and the “ootch ootch” maneuver to run.
Chandler and Amberly even found and rescued an abandoned paddle craft. If you lost a paddle craft on the Elm Fork, send a description of your missing boat. But in keeping with our focus on clean rivers, we have removed it from the river.
