And Campaign Dallas Chapter

This morning we as a chapter are grieving with the rest of the word at the murder of Tyre Nichols. As a chapter we are both infuriated and saddened at yet another senseless killing of a black person. We live in a country where law enforcement’s priority is profit and property but not people. It makes no sense that those meant to protect and serve can’t find the courage to save our children but have the audacity to beat up on everyday civilians. This is not normal and I do not believe our Lord has intended it to be this way.

Psalms 5:1-2 Give ear to my words, O Lord; consider my groaning. Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray.

We wanted to let everyone that the next book we’ll be reading for next year will be mutual aid by Dean Spade! Stay tuned for more updates for next year’s book club!

We want to invite everyone to our next chapter meet-up this Saturday, September 24th at 11 am. We will meet first at a community pantry sponsored by Food Not Bombs. We are encouraging everyone to donate food to this local community pantry. The things that the pantry will allow are canned foods, healthy snacks, hygiene materials, and whole grains. Afterward, we’ll make our way to Bonton Farms for lunch. The addresses for the event are located below. If you have any questions feel free to DM us.
