Diana Meyers, dead since 1987, gets summoned for her second time to perform the duty in taking Ronald Anderson to his eternity.
On the way, a couple of demons accost them, stating that Hell has a claim to Ronald's soul. Sensing that her charge isn't an evil man, Diana takes him on the run through the spirit world in an attempt to get him safely to his heavenly home while avoiding skip tracers hired by Hell and even a few angels that want Ronald to face up to his fate.
