Why Wait??
Writing is one of the most precious things in the world. Let me tell you why. In it’s purest form, it’s completely free and available to almost anyone. You could sit in a chair inside your home. Underneath a tree in the park. Or on a beach close to an ocean wave. There’s nothing between yourself and being a writer but a blank page. Anytime I’m outside and see someone running by themselves or even in a group I immediately think of writing. They share similar concepts. There’s a sense of freedom. A feeling of independence. However, writing happens in groups as well through television shows, movies, plays etc.
No matter how you spin it in the initial stages nothing stops you. You can write one word per day or one chapter. It’s up to you.
So why wait? Your solo writing could ignite a group effort. But the most important step is to get started. The biggest marathons in the world consist of many individual runners…along with a few running teams as well. But no one can tell the difference on it all by looking down from the skies above.
