🔥 TWO YEARS IN. STILL HUNGRY. 🔥
Two years ago, it was a smoker, a pop-up tent, and a lot of figuring it out as we went.
Since then, we’ve served barbecue out of parking lots, graduated to a trailer, met thousands of people, and built something bigger than we ever imagined.
These photos tell a small part of that story.
The best part isn’t the trailer or the growth.
It’s the people.
The ones who showed up in the beginning.
The ones who kept coming back.
The ones standing in line today.
June 8 marks two years since we launched Larkin barbecue into the world.

Early mornings feeding fires before the sun came up.
Late nights wondering if any of this would actually work.
A lot of risk. A lot of sacrifice. A lot of praying over something that didn’t come with guarantees.
This smoker saw all of it.
The first briskets. The test cooks. The exhausting weekends. The moments we thought we were crazy for trying.
But it also gave us opportunity. Purpose. A way to build something for our family with our own hands.

🔥 TWO YEARS AGO THIS WAS JUST A BIG LEAP OF FAITH. 🔥
Two weeks after moving into a new house, Sean lost his job in healthcare recruitment.
We had a toddler at home, another baby on the way, and a smoker sitting in the driveway with no guarantees attached to it.
Just faith, family, and a belief that maybe this crazy idea could become something real.
Now here we are getting ready to celebrate two years of Larkin Barbecue.
A whole lot of smoke, sacrifice, long nights, and East Dallas support later — we’re still here.
And we’re grateful for every single person that helped us make it this far. ❤️
