Earlier this year, we were delighted to welcome Dr. Tara Stoinski from the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to the Zoo! As one of our valued conservation partners, the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund plays an important role in helping protect gorillas in the wild.
During her visit, Dr. Stoinski met with Keith Z., our senior curator of mammals, and spent time observing our newly formed bachelor troop. It's been exciting to see the group settling in so well. They've been enjoying exploring their habitat, eating lots of snacks, and getting to know one another.
