How is your life online shaping the relationships you have online?
That is this year’s prompt for ’s Annual , a film festival that invites high school students from across the state to produce original short films in response to a question about s*x ed and healthy relationships.
Equipping young people with meaningful vehicles for their voices is a key attitude of ours at . It’s why —while we do very different work— we align so much with the approach Healthy Futures of Texas has to engage teens across the state and provide them with high-quality s*x education. Healthy Futures of Texas sincerely asks youth about their personal opinions on serious topics and gives them the space to express those opinions in meaningful, unique ways.
I was honored to serve alongside Fay Lidji as a previous co-chair for the Student Film Contest, and I’m very excited for the 2026 co-chairs, Lindsay Shipp and Kelsey Robertson, who are making this year’s event the best Student Film Contest yet.
