Just finished The Power of Your Subconscious Mind* and honestly? It’s making me rethink everything 🧠✨

The big idea: Your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what you vividly imagine. It’s constantly listening to your thoughts and working to make them your reality—whether you realize it or not.

Some takeaways that hit different:
• Your repeated thoughts become beliefs, your beliefs become actions
• Visualization before sleep = programming your subconscious while your conscious mind rests
• You can’t think one thing and expect another—your inner dialogue matters MORE than you think

Yes, it was written in 1963. Yes, some parts feel vintage. But the core truth? Still incredibly relevant.

Now I’m paying way more attention to the stories I tell myself on repeat 👀

Have you read it? What’s one book that shifted your perspective? 💭

💭 MARRIAGE MINDED MONDAY 💭
This week’s focus: Conflict Resolution

Conflict isn’t the enemy of your relationship—it’s how you handle it that matters.

This week, grab your journal and dive into these reflective prompts designed to transform how you and your partner navigate disagreements.

📝 Journal Prompts for Healthier Conflict Resolution:

1. Reflect on your conflict patterns: What recurring argument do you and your partner have? Describe what happens when you feel triggered and how you typically respond. What one small change could interrupt this pattern?
2. Explore your conflict heritage: How was conflict handled in your family growing up? What lessons did you absorb that might be influencing how you approach disagreements in your marriage today?
3. Consider your partner’s perspective: Think about a recent disagreement. Write out what you imagine your partner was feeling and needing in that moment (without judgment). How might understanding their viewpoint change your approach?
4. Identify your conflict strengths: What do you already do well when resolving conflicts? What conflict resolution skill would you like to develop further in yourself?
5. Design your repair ritual: What specific steps could you and your partner take to reconnect after an argument? Create a simple “repair ritual” that honors both of your needs.

💬 Comment below with which prompt resonated most with you! And if you’re ready to transform how you handle conflict in your relationship, DM me or click the link in bio to schedule a chemistry consultation.

# Marriage Minded Mondays: Rekindling Your Spark ✨

When relationships settle into comfort, the initial spark can fade beneath daily routines. Today’s prompts invite you to explore the deeper dimensions of connection:

1. Reflect on a moment when you felt profoundly understood by your partner. What vulnerability did you share, and how did their response strengthen your bond? How might you create space for similar exchanges now?

2. Consider how your individual fears may be creating distance. What unspoken concern might you be protecting your partner from, and what truth needs expression to restore intimacy?

3. Identify three ways your definition of love has evolved since your relationship began. How might acknowledging these changes help you appreciate your current connection rather than comparing it to the past?

4. Examine which parts of yourself you’ve kept hidden recently. What aspect of your authentic self are you longing to share with your partner again, and what’s holding you back?

5. Beyond physical intimacy, what form of connection feels most absent in your relationship right now? What specific action could each of you take to nurture this dimension?

How do you maintain connection in your relationship? Share below! ❤️

Sincerely,

Your Sista on the Sofa,

Kendal
