Today, we're honored to share Veronica's story, a reminder that life's challenges can happen when we least expect them.

In August 2022, Veronica, a Philadelphia-based flight attendant, was seriously injured in a devastating automobile accident. She was told she wouldn't be able to return to flying for a year while she recovered. As the months away from work added up, so did the financial strain, leaving her savings depleted.

During that difficult time, Wings Foundation provided the support she needed, helping ease the financial burden so she could focus on what mattered most: healing.

As a longtime supporter of Wings Foundation, Veronica believes in giving back to the flight attendant community that has always been there for one another. Her story is a powerful reminder that we never know when we, or someone we work alongside, may need a helping hand.

"I encourage everyone to donate to Wings because you never know what unexpected challenges life could bring."

Thank you, Veronica, for sharing your journey and for reminding us of the strength of our flight attendant family. Wishing you continued healing and many safe flights ahead.

After a loss or severe damage to your home, what you can prove matters just as much as what was lost.

Many people assume theyโ€™ll remember everything they own, but when it comes time to file an insurance claim, documentation can make the process smoother and help support the value of your losses.

Hereโ€™s what experts recommend:

๐Ÿ“ธ Take photos and videos of every room and your belongings

๐Ÿงพ Save receipts and proof of purchase throughout the year

๐Ÿ“‹ Document everyday items, not just high-value possessions

โ˜๏ธ Store copies in the cloud or email them to yourself for safekeeping

The reality is that missing documentation can lead to delayed processing, disputes, or reduced claim payments. Creating a home inventory before a disaster occurs can save significant time and stress during recovery.

Flight Attendant Disaster Relief (FADR) supports AA mainline flight attendants who experience damage to their primary residence from a natural disaster.

Non-weather-related events, including fires and floods, may be considered under the Wings Foundation FACR grant.
